Zee Tags Colour Options

The primary female (front tag) is always yellow.

Eight colour options are available for the male back tag:

Yellow
(YE)
White
(WH)

Red

 Purple

Female Primary Marking Options

The primary female tag is the "official" AHB component of the device. It is always yellow and must have the AHB logo, the herd number, the bar code, and the individual animal number.

The Zee Tags Primary female tag has two layout options:

  • Year Coded
    • The two digit year code is displayed "vertically " to the left of the animal number.
    • Maximum of four digits for the animal number.
  • Serial coded
    • The tag is not year coded
    • Only the animal number is displayed.
    • Maximum of six digits for the animal number.
    • No "zeros" printed to the left of the animal number. Serial coded "0028" is printed "28")

Direct to Slaughter Tags

DirectSlaughter

These tags are only to be used when animals are going direct from the farm to a meat processing plants. - a full set of AHB tags must be applied for animals being sold.
